This was born out of painting the day after the Asian movie night (horror movies from midnight to eight), sleeping four hours and then listening to final fantasy soundtracks while painting. The kind of dark and omnious compocition was because of the movies, I think, but it was supposed to be colored all dark and omnious too! Kefka apparently disagreed. Don't blame me!
Oh, and the shadow-light discrepancy is at least semi-intentional, so don't kick me too hard
Once again, I am simultaneously amazed and freaked-out.
I love everything about it except for the fact that we can see every rooftop.. there should be some looming stuff left to the imagination.. where a lot of fear originates. And maybe a lower perspective.. but still! Ah, I can't explain why I like this so much. Maybe it's the color/tone.

I love how the light shines on the the buildings and reflects a shadow - although physically impossible it as kick ass!
